    This drop off enrichment program is for children ages 7 to 14 and meets every Wednesday throughout the school year, August through May. We offer open enrollment throughout the year.

    Winter Foraging: Wild Roots & Tubers

    A good source for foraging in the winter months is the stores of plant energy in roots and tubers.

    In this class, we will learn:
    -which roots and tubers are edible
    -how to identify them, and
    -how to prepare them.  

    Samples will include Dandelion Root Coffee, Daylily Tuber, Wild Onion, Crinkle Root Soup.  We’ll also learn how to make my favorite – Sassafras Tea!

    $40 per person includes instruction & tastings.

    Spring Family Camp Out

    APRIL 26TH 6:00PM - 9:00AM

    -Nature program at 7:00pm
    -S’mores by the campfire!
    -Dance party before bed

    Set up your tent and enjoy a fun family evening at the farm! Make s'mores by the campfire & meet new friends. Our nature program begins at 7:00pm. We will have a snack shop set up with drinks and snacks available for purchase. All ages and abilities are welcome.
